Fun things to do in Kodiak
Alaska |
|
|
The Best Western Kodiak Inn is
located by the downtown district
of the City of Kodiak, Alaska
close to sport shops, gift
shops, the Native Alutiiq
Museum, the Russian Baranov
Museum, and St Paul's Harbor.
The rivers in Kodiak are great
for fishing sockeye salmon late
May into June, pink salmon late
June through August, and coho
salmon late August into October.
And, we must not forget the
Grizzly Bear that Kodiak is
famous for - there are many
charter flights to take bear
viewers close enough for great
pictures of the magnificent
creatures. Many guests stay at
the Kodiak Inn and continue on
further to a remote lodge or
camp site for fishing, hunting
or bear viewing.
